A Poem in Solidarity

No toys, no breaks, no justice --
For a mother and her child

A women in a
cage.

Denied the
medicine she

needs

to be a mother to
her
prison-born
cellmate.

Her son, whose
only
crime was
being the fruit
of a Palestinian womb.

No toys, no breaks, no justice --
For a mother and her child

I want to thank you for visiting my blog and would like to give you a link to a article about a Palestinian famliy who has been put in jail in Texas. It breaks my heart to see the U.S. Government acting much like the Government of Israel. http://criese1946.blogspot.com/2007/02/experience-of-mohammad-11-year-old-in.html

I will share this link that you gave me with my friends and also will post your poem on my blog if that is alright.

Take care my friend and I will add you to my blog roll.

Sham: Thanks for coming in and reading my blog. I hope you enjoyed it.

Chet: Thank you for the link. I will read it tonight. Feel free to post any of my work anywhere you want. My personal view is that there is no sense writing if nobody reads it. Go Huskers!!!
